Well it seems my Linksys, BEFSR41 V3 completely flatlined on me. No matter what settings I try, no DNS entries work. Even when connected straight from the PC to modem, the DNS settings that I'm using are correct. Anyway, I ended up tossing it across the kitchen & it broke into a thousand pieces. Not as sturdy as I thought but whatever, it's a Linksys. Any recommendations for a capable, reliable and working router will be greatly appreciated. Oh and just in case anyone is wondering, I'll be using the router for gaming mostly.
How ya doing, buddy? |
Appreciate the recommendations and well in short, I went ahead with a D-Link router. The netgear had too much of a Wii theme going there and this D-Link gaming router had plenty of positive feedback.
