Shamelessly linking a rollercoaster minecraft world I made some weeks back. Apparently the megaupload link I had in my journal was broken and I couldn't be arsed to check (nor did anyone comment about it) derp.

Well I just wanted to dig that mountain side smooth, but then I had bags full of dirt and stone, and since storage don't work yet, I had to build something, thus~ :U

It's really just a hc creative mode atm, the real fun will start when notch gets storage and furnace fixed and adds nights and mobs.

I managed to build all that crap because I've played quite a bit lately, testing how to build stuff and managing time and tools well. 2/3 of the time I swing a pickaxe (it's pretty boring with big projects like this). True survival will be intense as fuck.

I have a secret project going on in Acer's server, one that I doubt anyone can find unless they spot a certain "hint" while in there. Posting later screens of it, once I can be arsed to mine a billion more stones for it..

Pretty handy ground floor, workshop and all.


Floor above has some classy library and lounge~

3rd floor is basicly a waiting area with benches and..

floor heating for them winters~


Minetrack station for both of my mines.


Harbor in the air (further explanation later)..


Tracks leading to both of my mines, furnace powered carts now run up and down handily. Also bamboo farm on the right for paper.


So that's how my harbor works, you basically row your boat in the stream and some wonky physics blast you up~


And lastly a nightview of the whole thing, gotta love how that light works.

Place took me like a week to build, some materials were harder to reach than others. Still satisfying.

(Oh and I managed to burn that roof once, DON'T PLAY WITH LAVA KIDS!)

What rat is trying to say is that he's been playing on GFFs creative server, which is obviously free.
The client however costs around 10 euros, or 13 whatever bucks to you across the puddle. Relatively cheap price for a game you will get every future update for (as it is still technically in alpha) and how much time you can spend in it.

Joined and have been testing this SMP server since yesterday. Really nice folks there, but the lag is pretty crippling at times (maybe the server is on the other side of the globe) and they turned mobs on today, making the server mad hardcore with invincible and sometimes invisible mobs due to lag.

My grand project idea is also pretty much dust now that I can't even build without freaks buttraping me at every corner..

But still recommended once they get the lag issues cleared.

I've been a daily builder on PiccoloNamek's server for a month now. With lag issues resolved, lives as blockmen are good!

Gigantic map, tons of stuff to see everywhere, build your kingdom in the wilderness (I did), good people, good times.

Joined pgenesis.com (that's the login ip) smp server few months ago and been mining & building just about daily there since.

Edit: Loving the singleplayer though, I've got a pretty epic Moria mine thing building up.

pgenesis is still using 1.3 server, because most of the plugins are not updated fast enough, so it's better to not update yet to avoid a mess..

so either you wait until pgenesis updates to 1.4 or you could downgrade your client by downloading this 1.3 bin folder and copying it over your .minecraft/bin, then with the new minecraft.exe you choose from options not to update now.

Thread has been quiet for a good while.

So the "release version" is out, and it's already got 1.1 update. New features and fixes are still coming which is nice.

I'm still playing with Scotty on Lunar's survival server, altho the latter has been taking time off of it.
