^...huh?

Places like 4chan and Gfaqs are flaming it to death for that score. Considering that the main reason the score crashed because it was too hard... huh.
Hard is good. I don't know why, but recent games seem to have been designed for pussies - every game I played was god damn easy. Easy as in completable from first game, and barely a challenge in hardest mode. On the Megadrive, heck, back on the C64, games were MUCH harder. Hard as in tear-your-hair-out hard. Hard as in you needed surgical precision for every jump on the later levels. Over the past years, I think the only recent games I found hard were Ikaruga and Halo on legendary mode. A game being insanely hard is not a problem and should not ruin the score; it means that (optimally) you need to LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE FUCKING GAME. Of course, knowing Sonic games, the game may be choke full of camera problems and totally useless controls, and lowering scores for that is entirely justifiable...

Jam it back in, in the dark.
