Isn't the 9800gt basically the same card as the 8800gt though?
If you save up 20$ more, you can buy a radeon 5850, which not only rapes every game maxed out, but it also has ridiculous overclock potential, and it looks like a batmobil. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

According to wikipedia, the 9600gt is an "upgrade" of the 8600, and the 9800gt is a 8800gt manufactured on 55nm.
