Hmmm it seems the first Deathnote movie will be shown in Singapore theatres soon. Nice.

Yes, the movie was pretty good. If you think about it,

the plan of killing both of them was the only way to meet L and Light was absolutely sure that it will go as he planned, since he knows that Naomi and L knew each other. When Light wrote in the deathnote that Naomi will get "someone" to witness her get a confession out of him, he is convinced that the person she calls will be L himself. Killing off Shiori was also necessary to portray himself as an innocent victim... but we all know L did not buy that. That bag of chips he was eating while personally welcoming Light into the team at the end was an obvious challenge to Light.


Man... I can't wait for Deathnote 2 to be out.
