heh. Action, finally. Cool. =)
Definitely supporting this, as it's pretty obvious we'll never get it on GFF before 2015. Tell me if you need help with anything. Something GMR-like would be fine, I guess, since my experience tells me a Wiki would get messy fast. The majority of people don't know how to deal with anything else than to-fill boxes. Though yeah, the ability to restore data fast would be a must. Now, the big question to me is kinda in the lines of what Teioh said. What do we list on it? It's nice to know a gamerip has been done before, but what use is it if it is'nt accesible anywhere? This is why having it here, coupled to the forums, was nice. But yeah... That is why I'd be all in favor of deciding at the same time on a way of distributing these gamerips by less reducing ways than FTPs, unless we're gonna have someone on a T3 willing to give away his FTP info to the public, leave it on 24/24 and share every gamerips listed on the DB. Emule coupled to the Kadmelia network sounds fine to me. You can have HTML links, and everyone can share their rips from home. I know many people hate Emule for some reason, but heh, I just don't see an alternative... Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Soooo... what we're doing here is kind of a directory of "I've did it" pages?
Cause yeah, I fail to see the interest of that. Well, except for the ripper's egos, of course. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
