Also, from the E3 video I saw some months ago the characters kept missing or doing 1 damage to the enemies with the battle taking forever.

That is a huge gripe I have with the game. Basically, you want to have Shadow and Knuckles in your party at all times unless you want to sit through VERY LONG and drawn out battles. The gap in damage between the characters is totally insane. I also have no idea why Sonic is classified as a strengh character when his attacks are all laughably weak.
