I could beat the snake level with practice. But that volcano speedbike stage. OMG. Someone needs to be shot for that nonsense.

Yes. Grammar error.

Rat Race!

That stage was INCREDIBLY fun. It's actually kind of easy. The trick I used was A) Never stop moving. EVER. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER. B) On straightaways, try and hit the rat so he'd bounce off a wall and go backwards buying you another second of time. Same goes for areas near gas vents. C) The rat can't differentiate between holes, so...say...if the platforms are moving at the same speed you can change your direction to fall through all of them at once without ever stopping. Because the rat only changes direction unless he hits a wall, this is where you gain large amounts of space between you and him in order to get ahead. It takes practice, but all those methods worked for me.

yes. -__- That one always came down to quick reflexes and a lot of luck. You pretty much have to be prepared to hit the controller's directions as soon as you see a turn and have the more complex sections memorized almost like inserting a game code.
What always would get me though was not the stages, but the fact that you'd have to fight a boss AFTER a particularly intense stage like those. It almost felt unfair.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
