My father was in the military so after being born in New Jersey, I wound up living in West Virginia, Virginia, Maine. Then 3.5 years in Yokosuka, Japan. Then when we returned, we had to move to San Diego. We flew in on the east coast, visited family and then drove across country. I think we went down to Alabama, and then west. I know we hit Tennessee and Texas, and Arizona before arriving in CA. Obviously the states in between. Then we moved to WA, so we took another road trip through Nevada, and Oregon. At some point, I think when flying to Japan, we had a layover in Alaska. Never left the gate but it was neat. From WA we moved back to NJ, and so we drove through the badlands, the dakotas, Indiana, Ohio, PA, and NJ. And most recently, Taking Greyhound through Vermont and CT up to Montreal in Canada.
