Hopped on PSIBlade again since Snowknight mentioned it to me. Had to get a second disk and install Windows on that (boo ATA33 ;_; ), but I've been roaming around down in Payon Dungeon 1 recently for level--don't really know of anywhere else, really.
My character is: Duminas | Acolyte | 18/10 I so need to find a better weapon. Rod +3 isn't really cutting it against Zombies right now. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Aaaaaaaaand a slight update. Acolyte at 38/28 now. Beyond that, has PSIBlade been known to be droppy on occasion? Earlier tonight I got dropped every few minutes for a good half hour--eventually just gave up.
That and the lag killed me in Payon Dungeon 2 twice, but that wasn't quite as big a bother. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Now a 55/43 Acolyte, and I've got a question.
I've been building for a Priest, but being at this point as an Acolyte (high INT, low everything else) I'm finding myself rather bored, and can't see becoming a Priest helping this much. Can Monks sustain themselves decently, if using, say, the Diamond build? Priest looks like it'd be more of the same slow healbombing, where Monk looks like it'd be crush kill destroy massacre time; choosing is hard. But to that end, I've also stocked up 50k so I can reset myself if I do decide to go Monk, since I've got a few stray points scattered about. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
TU and ME?
And "Diamond build" is one of the ones people have mentioned to me, in that it relies on str and vit rather heavily. Carded chains is what I'm told about it. There's some more info over here. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
That was an interesting analogy. I think I'll go to the TSS one, then. ;_;
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Quick question for anyone who has been an Acolyte before.
At job 46, levelling on Firelocks is getting ridiculously slow, especially due to the Shinobi wandering around that whomp me every so often. Might I ask if anyone knows of a better levelling spot for someone that can pretty much only Healbomb? I tried Wraiths and Evil Druids in Glast Heim, but the former's a bit of an irritant, and the latter's only 5% for 16k HP. Any pointers would be helpful. Trying to make it to J50 without ripping my hair out. Thanks. ![]() What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
That it seems to. Apparently, though, you've got to hit j50 if you're serious, so I'm trying for it. Only four levels to go, at least.
Most amazing jew boots |
So I hear. Those Shinobi sure do hurt, though. One hit kills aren't nice. ;_;
As far as Blue Herbs go, do you have any particular suggestion about finding those? I've got a Shimmering Plant that seems to spawn predictably near Geffen (1N, 1W) I go to to get them, and there's a Blue Plant to the west of Geffen itself (1W), but beyond that I've not much. Now just to avoid the Paper in level 2. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
And I can kill Seals how? :P
Forgot about ROEmpire, though--I'll go check them out. By the way, Googling around, I find that people are mentioning J50 bonuses for second-tier classes--this is what happens when you hit J50 in that class, not what happens by reaching J50 upon raising yourself from first-tier to second-tier (Archer->Hunter being an example of what I mean with those terms), is it not? I'm still hitting J50 Acolyte either way, but just thought I'd try to get that one straightened out. Jam it back in, in the dark.
