I never really appreciated having a mobile phone until my car broke down on my way in to University one morning, during a spell of extremely slow moving traffic. Although my gratitude was mitigated slightly by the fact that I ran out of credit, and the top-up by debit/credit card service happened to be down. I have since switched to a pay monthy contract to make my phone really useful for emergencies!

I'm not really an irritating person with my phone, whenever I'm in public I keep it on vibrate/mute. I only have the ringer on when I'm in my house, car or whatever.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
