Packrat is right about the layers.
Use layer 1 for the upward-pointing stems and layer 2 for the downward-pointing stems. It will keep things less messy. By default, when you use layers, it will fill out the whole measure with rests in both layers. If you want to hide rests (or notes), [in Simple Entry] select the rest using the arrow keys and press D. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
