I have a '94 Honda Civic DX. It's especially a nice car because I live in Ohio but have a lot of family in Michigan and New Hampshire, and since I hate flying a reliable, comfortable car with good gas mileage is a must and it's more than satisfactory on all three of those areas. It's only died on me once and that was because I neglected it's gas tank, and to this day it hasn't needed a single major repair. But it also has freakishly low mileage for it's age, it's just been driven barely over 86k miles. Aside from a few long-distance drives, the longest between between Cleveland and San Diego, it's hardly been taken outside of town.
It's definitely a car I'd recommend for anyone looking for a small car. The only complaint I have is the size, but I also come from a family that loves it's trucks. Really, for a small car the thing is huge inside. Jam it back in, in the dark.

Personally, I think until we get a good replacement to fossil fuels diesel would be a better route to go than hybrids. Diesel engines are more efficient than unleaded gas engines, and to my knowledge they're much cheaper to fix and maintain than hybrids.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
