It was originally from the movie Dil Se played right at the beginning of the film... great scene if you ever have access to it.
I enjoyed the film, although I think the main reason was because I enjoyed the song so much and actually hearing a Hindi song in a theater for the first time made me very excited. The film was well done, but I don't think it was anything so special. I place it a step or two above your average James Bond movie... something you can put on in the background for some good entertainment but you won't feel compelled to watch every second of it. The Jodie Foster character annoyed me a little with the "I can find anything out" but never explaining... just being used to push forward the plot. 7/10 if I were rating it on IMDb I suppose. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
