Azureus port binding

I recently got Verizon FiOS because it's cheaper and faster than Comcast Cable. I also got a router instead of the direct connection I'd be using. Azureus for some reason cannot bind to any of the ports I've given it. I have properly setup port forwarding. I know this since I've taken 6855 and run DC++ and FTP on it and they connected. Yet, Azureus, for whatever ports I try says that it cannot bind TCP or UDP to the port. It's annoying because when I seed torrents I can only connect to a limited number of peers. Has anyone had this problem? I have no idea if other software is bound to those ports... but, it doesn't seem so since I could bind FTP to the ports. Any advice would be appreciated.

Update: Utorrent works and on the exact same port. Is it something in Java that's not allowing it to bind? It's a little odd.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
