I do buy them, yes. Since I started paying my own money for games, I quickly learned that I cannot possibly get everything brand new. I go for brand new games, maybe on release day, when the game is absolutely unmissable - the others can wait. I've bought used games off eBay at times, never had a problem, of course the box isn't sparkling new, but I can accept that when I want an NTSC copy of a game that's been released too long ago, as happened with Kingdom Hearts (bought the PAL version, found it indecent, then went on playing other things and when I wanted to try KH again, I went NTSC).
I live in Italy and there's a games shop in my city that sells used games, but they'll only take in games in very good condition, so I often buy secondhand games from them and I've always been happy. Scratchless CDs-DVDs, boxes and manuals in near-pristine condition.
