I've never nominated a song that wasn't from a game or an arrangement of an in-game song, and I don't like to see too many non-game songs appear in SotW, but I'm going to go against that and nominate an original composition for once.
Apparently Mitsuda has a Japanese fanclub. Awhile back he sent out a few CDs to members of the club, with 2 original songs on each CD (the 3rd one actually had 2 Chrono Cross arrangements). This is one of those original songs. I'm thinking it should be allowable, because even though it's Mitsuda, it's semi-obscure. Album: Hopeful Weeds original sound vol. 002 Artist: Yasunori Mitsuda Track: Primitive Heart Track #: 1 Year: 2001 Catalog #: HW-0002 Source: VGMDB Jam it back in, in the dark.
