What? Dude, I'm in Boston all the time, and almost everyone I meet is a Bruins fan, and a lot of those are fairly well educated hockey fans. (Educated enough to know how shoddy their ownership is, at least.)

Jam it back in, in the dark.

at 7.5 per season, for five years, with a NTC? Yea, they'll know him as the 6'9" fucker who sank their goddamn team. Chara sucks.

Oh and Capo I guess but I don't know. Recchi was alright when he was here but god was he terrible on the defense aspect of the game. Didn't he leave Pittsburgh with a +/- of like -30?

No, it's just that some of us are so fucking depressed by what our teams did in the off season that we can't bring ourselves to talk about it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Go here. Click on highlights. Watch until about halfway through when Phaneuf fucking tears Hamel in half. HIT OF THE YEAR. God I love that man.

Emery has looked much better than a lot of people expected him to, I think. Also... my god. Phaneuf is a machine.

So, Dope and Wojo, you still gonna be a fan when Crosby is playing for the Halifax Tragically Hips?

Has anyone started making Crosby-Malkin to Jagr-Lemieux comparisons yet? Because I've been hearing them, and they annoy me every time.

Malking looks good, though. I'll give you guys this. You probably won't be playoff material yet, but you'll have one of the most exciting teams to watch.

Not just impossible, it's stupid. I've been watching the Sabres. They're fucking awesome. But to say 50% of their goals have been of the calibre or Malkin's is ridiculous. Next he'll tell us a solid 20% have been as good as Ovechkin scoring from his back. Thus, Y HALO THAR FANBOY.

Also, Boston finally won another game. At this rate we'll win at least 7 by the end of the season. Man, I'm sure glad we got Chara!

<RonzAtSchool> Deni I thought long and hard about your comment of how Alfredsson sucks in the NHL thread and I crafted the perfect response.

BWAHAHAHAHA.

But that doesn't work, Boston fans hate him too.

I brought a vote for Rory sign to an Oilers game. I just think it's awesome. The kid has paid his dues, and it would be awesome to see him there. Hockey is, at the heart, a grassroots sort of sport, and it would be great to see him in there.

What I don't get is how Huet isn't on the ballot. The guy basically leads the league in most goaltending stats. Ridiculous.
