Bastion - 40 points

This year's Limbo/Braid what have you. Delightful in every way. One of the best soundtracks, some of the most fun, some of the best storytelling (that end sequence if you choose to save that guy who I won't explain for spoilers? One of the best moments in any game ever) and just great game mechanics all around. I have nothing bad to say about this game.

Batman Arkham City - 10 points

It's Batman but with more stuff. Never get tired of that silhouette ever. I find his interactions with gunplay sort of frustrating, but the voice acting is just completely tremendous. I just want to high five Mark Hamil after every single thing he says.

Xenoblade - 20 points

How is this game on the wii? How did it take so long to get the localization done? Why aren't more people jacked for one of the greatest RPGs out there? It's fantastic all the way through, and I love it. You should love it too.

Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky - 30 points

You didn't play this (unless you're Skills) and you should be fucking ashamed of yourself. This game felt fantastic all the way through, and was thoroughly enjoyable.

Honourable Mentions:

Witcher 2
Gemini Rue
To the Moon

Jam it back in, in the dark.

John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD.

Rayman was glorious, and Dark Souls was solid. Agreed. Rayman for best platformer of the year, no doubt.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
