Seriously, that guy needs to shut his fucking mouth. His complaint seems to be that not every reviewer knows all the nuances that would make them love shmups. "These games are meant to be played over and over and over and over and over." Yeah, well not everyone enjoys that. "These games are supposed to be unforgivingly cruel and difficult." Okay, well not everyone likes that. This seems like a lot of wankery to me. Are shmups misunderstood? Yep. But so are all genres according to the people who love them. There's nowhere I can't reach.
