It could be throat cancer, it could be a problem with your vocal chords, it could be a lot of things. Go to a doctor if you're concerned.

Yeah, we are more than just gamers. And if one of our gamers here also happens to be a doctor, by all means, they should step up to the plate. But if you're a gamer AND a musician, or a gamer AND a historian, you still aren't really capable of giving out medical advice.
