Alcohol in women?

Depends on the kind of alcohol. Red wine and red meat go together very well, but what you really want is a chewy red wine with any strong flavours, i.e. blue cheese or heavily peppered steak, and a softer, floral white with things like fish or light poultry, or straight pasta. As for other drinks, it really depends. Just never pair sweet alcohol with sweet food, you're better off with champagne with dessert, rather than an ice wine or something. Things with tequila, strawberry and ice etc... go really well with spicey foods, but not so well with pasta and western cuisine. Obviously Sake and beer with asian food. Though pairing beer is a whole different animal--my personal favourite actually--and you don't seem the beer drinking type.
