I'm an A type for the most part, but part of that has to do with my job at selling video games. I've found that even if I don't PLAY video games, I need to read a lot of reviews and know a LOT about games to be able to adequately help people.
I actually respect A gamers more, because I think that they're more open to playing anything and aren't going to mindlessly bash on things that they don't like. A B gamer is a great person to ask for help in a game that they like, but I'd much rather have discussions on gaming in general with an A gamer.
