I call bullshit.
First off, how the hell would having two firewalls result in all the IP addresses being blocked? And how would this change with JUST a hardware firewall? :eyebrow:
Second, with multiple computers on a network, I would go so far as to say it's VITAL to have a software firewall along with the hardware firewall. After all, if Little Timmy Leet downloads a virus onto his computer (completely by accident), would you want it to be able to go to your own computer?
A hardware firewall is good for defending the ENTIRE NETWORK, but it can't defend against stupid people doing stupid shit. Having a software firewall at least confines the stupid shit to the stupid person's computer.
Finally, I've installed and run ZoneAlarm Pro on EVERY computer in my house, and we can all access the network just fine.
How ya doing, buddy?
