Besides, Jigglypuff in a good player's hands is fucking nasty. She has god damn insane combos and can off somebody with Rest at around 40-50%. She was near top-tier in Melee IIRC.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The newest update just went up; info on Kirby and Pikachu.

Quote:
This is Kirby, Warp Star-riding citizen of Dream Land who can suck up anything. His copy abilities allow him to steal the powers of other characters!

Yeah... He’s the only character who really hasn’t changed much from his appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee. He’s round, pink, and soft.
Quote:
With perfectly round cheeks and a jagged tail,
this can only be that most familiar of Pokémon, Pikachu!

It may be small and agile, but its electricity gives it powerful attacks.
It’s what you would call an all-around character.
Not much info. Kirby might be dropping down in viability a bit though, if he's not changing all that much. We'll see how the new copy moves work out, I guess *shrug*

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Finally, some REAL new info: Pikachu's Final Smash. Basically, the little rat turns into a "ball of light" which you can ram into your opponents. Sounds fun. =D

Newest update is up. This time, they have a sample of music, this one arranged from several OoT melodies.

It sounds freakin' AWESOME, in my opinion. Definitely something I would love to listen to while I fight =D

God, I am such a night owl...

And today's update is a new item: The Banana Peel!

...I think it's obvious what this does.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

WHAT? ANOTHER UPDATE?

This time, it's a little less flashy than a new item, but still neat: Names.

Reading between the lines, we can get this out of it:

1) You can probably map the buttons as you see fit.
2) You can save this button mapping to your name.
3) They PLAN to allow for your Wii remote to carry a copy of your name and button mapping, but they may not be able to (probably due to memory limitations).

Also, a good hacker might be able to pull something out of this image:

With a little luck, we may have the character select screen.

Cripes, am I the *only* one keeping this thread alive?

Anyway, today we have Assist Trophies!

You know that Nintendog that was in the first E3 movie? Yeah, that's an assist trophy. We also have Hammer Bros. and Samurai Goroh making an appearance as a trophy. It also appears that they're invincible. =o

Sounds pretty damn awesome. I wonder if you earn trophies like SSB:M and then use them as an item in Brawl. =D

Oh, and last update was Wario's side and down specials. A charge move like Yoshi's side special and a charge-up. Somehow, I don't get the feeling that Wario is gonna be top tier. =|

How ya doing, buddy?

lol, nope. it's just a combination of the fact that I live on the West Coast, the fact that the Dojo (apparently) updates rather early for me, and the fact that I'm a natural-born night owl with no school to worry about. =D

I've noticed it updates at 2:00 A.M. for me, but I live in the Central Time Zone, so that means it updates at exactly midnight for the west coast. It makes sense though, because Nintendo of America is in Seattle so it would only be natural that the site would update when the clock hits midnight over there.
Well technically, NoA's headquarters are in Bellevue, not Seattle. I went there once to get my Wii replaced when it bricked on me. >.>;

C-C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

I hope they buff him a bit, to be honest. Poor guy was worthless in Melee. =\

I guess so. I never really bothered to learn much about him though. I stuck to Luigi, mainly.

Well, gents, you wanted details on the controls, and you got 'em!

Standard:

Strong:

Smash:

I'm still reserving judgement on this. It could be a little awkward using just the Wiimote, but we'll see if it's okay. Hell, who knows. It might turn out to be easier doing advanced stuff with it.

Ike, from Fire Emblem!

Too lazy to copy and paste the entry, so yeah. GO there yourself, you lazy bastage.

Hell no this ain't Naruto.

This is old-school mother-fuckin' Street Fighter 2. To be more specific, Dhalsim originally got his ability to breathe fire by eating... super-spicy Indian curry.

Anybody else sorta... well, "meh?"

Sonic being in the next SSB game was a complete no-brainer ever since the EGM April Fool's Day "secret," and delays are "Eh."

Then again, I just came back from finishing HL2: Episode 2, which was like... whoa.

"Nope."
"A Nintendo Royale with Cheese."
