Time to format c: and reinstall. Long as you didn't make the mistake of having data on your windows partition, reinstalling should only take an hour. Obviously you don't NEED to format to reinstall, it's just cleaner and less ugly that way.
I have a feeling your motherboard might be dying though. edit: and I assume you're using XP? it keeps like 2 backups of system files, so it's not going to look on the cd unless both are deleted. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
