I have been and most likely always will be a very avid gamer. Sure, maybe I don't play games as much as I used to as a youngin', but I still end up playing at least five out of the seven days of the week, even if it's for a short while.
Real life is great, and I indulge in it, but there's something about the escapism found in video games that just appeals to me. It gives me a comfort of sorts. A lot of times when I'm just sitting around doing nothing productive whatsoever (AKA relaxing), I find that my time would be better spent doing something fun and unproductive rather than BLURG and unproductive. To tell the truth, I'm not sure if I'll ever grow out of gaming. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
