I agree. I really enjoyed the Zoids: Chaotic Century / Guardian Force anime. They had a really great plot and creative storyline that I never found boring. I'm waiting until they release box sets.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, the recently released the last DVD of Guardian Force. No releases for Box Sets of the series yet though.

To be honest, I thought that the dubbed versions of Chaotic Century / Guardian Force were really quite good. So I wouldn't really mind picking up just the dubbed versions.

Spoiler:
Raven and Geno Breaker FTW

Eriol, I was completely unaware that a Zoids: Chaotic Century manga had been released. I wouldn't mind taking a look at a few scans.

One thing I noticed between Zoids: Zero Century and Zoids: Chaotic Centure / Guardian Force is the surprising character similarities. Just to name a few:

Vega Obscura and Raven
Naomi Fluegel and Moonbay
Jack Sisko and Irvine
Harry Champ and Thomas Schubaltz

Just to name a few.

Allright. Take your time.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah. Personality-wise they are polar opposites. I was speaking on more of a character design similarity.

I also noticed that Brad Hunter bears some resemblence to Hiltz.

Spoiler:
I think that Vega is a descendant of Raven and Reese

Yeah, that's how I stumbled upon Zoids: Chaotic Centure / Guardian Force as well. I was at a friends house pulling an all-nighter. I believe it came on at 5 AM. So I just recorded the rest of the episodes since I didn't feel like getting up THAT early every day.

About the final four episodes of Guardian Force, it was The Ocean Group that delayed the translation and dubbing of the episodes for reasons I'm not sure. Once they finished though, Cartoon Network showed the Final Four episodes in January of 2003.

I'm not too sure, but according to an article in Anime News Network,

Other titles currently scheduled to be released on Toonami Jetstream include such hits as Cartoon Network's original Toonami production IGPX and VIZ Media's Megaman NT Warrior series and the all-new Zoids Genesis.
So it looks like we'll be able to check it out within the next month or so.

I think I've found the katakana you're looking for. I'm not much of a translator myself so have at it.

aggh.
Is this mistake prevalent in the entire manga series? I can't believe that a professional translator made a mistake like that.

The most stupid mistranslation I ever met here is when a translator mistook Byakko (びゃっこ) as Byatsuko (びゃつこ) in Samurai Deeper Kyo manga.

The translator mistook っ (which is put to make double sound in consonant) as つ (tsu)

but I could understand, sometime raw manga's furigana is just too small, which make it harder to translate.

EDIT: this meant the translator doesnt read Zoids series I guess.

Still though, if the translator isn't 100% sure that the characters are correct he should contact the company or the author himself to make sure.

Does he mispronounce Raven's name throughout the entire manga?

That is hilarious. :lolsign:

When will they be releasing Volume 2 of the manga? It would make sense that the company should contact you saying they've made the necessary corrections.
