I agree with Gechmir to a fault. It wore on me sometimes when they would focus entire episodes on Shinji and his childlike behavior and lack of self-esteem. Besides that, the fighting was good and presented at differnt angle than most other giant-mecha anime.
One thing that surprised me most about this anime was the song choice for the ending theme, "Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra". That's what really made this anime stand out to me. Great stuff there. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
I agree, I thought his voice was way to high-pitched and whiny. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
