Mosquito bites

How do you deal with these bites? How do you stop them from biting you? Do you hide in the house and seal up all openings?

I can't deal with bites and I've become paranoid since my friend nearly died from dengue last year. I use just regular old insect repellent but to be truthful, it doesn't do much for arachnids. Damn lotions/sticks attract spiders.

I'll close myself in my room under my blankets if I have to. Outdoors people burn langsat peels (local fruit in Asia)--they say it drives mosquitos away.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
