Job Hate

"1. School is not a job."

Sir. I work at a highschool, doesn't that count? ._.

I have no actual beef with my job, I love being an art teacher. There's atleast one or three students in every class (I have 16 classes through the week) that has some sort of artistic talent, so it's very inspiring and exciting.

HOWEVER.
There are the students goes "This is booooooooooooooring!" and "I can't draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw, I don't know what to do, draw for me!" not to mention "lolz art is not a real class, I'm going out for a smoke and then bully the other students becuz I'm cuul and stuffs"
actually, they're not bad themselves, the trick is how to get them intrested too and let their frustrations out on a paper. I can deal and handle that.

Then we have the other teachers...
AUGH.
AUGH.
AAUGH.

1) I'm relatively young looking .. and young. I just recently became an art teacher a month and 3 weeks ago. There are STILL other teachers, thinking I'm just another student. So everytime I need to make up copies and another teacher runs into me, they look at me suspiciously, raising an eyebrow and say "You do know that you will need another teacher helping you with the copymachine" or "do you really have the permission to be here, in the teachers longue!? >=o"
It's rather annoying.
And while at it, with the whole being young and look young (mind you, I don't look my age at all, I look younger, like 17.) Students get crushes on me ._.; (not too sound arrogant or whatever) but I've already got 3 confessions and I have a small fanclub following me around. It's a bit troublesome, seeing how I already am in a relationship and not to mention the whole student + teacher = no no.

2) This may sound a bit GTO'ish, but I just hate it when the other teachers sit in the teachers longue room and gossips about the other students, how she/he is going to fail and why, they keep yapping about how things are going to turn out and how bad this student is. But they have absolutely no intention to ever help said person solve his problems or trick he/she into working harder. It's rather sad.

3) The drama'ing between the teachers themselves. There are a couple of teachers that absolutely cannot get along, everytime they end up in the same room, you get the whole hostile and cold feeling and they barely talk to each other. >>; good job. Good thing I only eat lunch there and spend the rest of my time in my own class room ._.;
