[PC] On War Without Swords - Civ 4 Succession Game 2

I'm up for it.

I'm sorry about the last game, two reasons... I kind of lost my free time, and I have this problem with end game civ.. It becomes to technical for me and I screw up more then help >_>

What are we doing with the spy % thing, are we going to be playing with that at all since this is Beyond the sword and all.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Got the save. Didn't know there was an update to the game, downloading the patch. Erhm, since what I have is 'illegal' is there a crack somewhere?

Edit: Oh wow.. Because Im using a cracked version already.. It wont let me update. I gotta reinstall the whole thing -.- It might take a while.. I have civ and warlords on disk, but I'll need to redownload Beyond the Sword.

Double edit: I can't seem to find a no-cd patch for 3.19. I'll keep looking though.

Got it working. Will take my 10 turns soon.

Additional Spam:
Most boring turns ever. Turn 5 discovered priesthood, going for Polytheism, maybe we can nab another religion.

Turn 7, found a tribal village. They gave us an extra warrior. Also some gems nearby.

And shit. Lions out of nowhere killed the settler..

Shit 2x. Bears killed our exploring warrior.

Turn 10, discovered animal husbandry. Set us on archery, and that brings an end to my turns.

Started my turns.

Oh no. Turn 3, a barbarian shows itself near our warrior/settler. Will try to fight it off.
Turn 4, victory! And, a great prophet has been born in another land.

Turn 5, someone built the oracle. And our second settlement has been created. I dub thee... PowaHowsa. Set it to build an archer in case more barbarians show up.

Turn 6 writing was completed.. Going to risk trying for code of laws..

Elizabeth wants open borders.. at this point, I'd say sure.. But Im worried she'll come in and plant a city on our island

10 turns have gone by and we might be in trouble. I'll let his screenshot show you.

This makes me afraid to take my turns :P Which I'll be taking a bit later today, because I have to prep for an interview coming up in a few hours. I'll take my turns when I come back though.

Turn 3: Axemen outside our gate. Hopefully our archers defend!
Turn 4: Yay we beat them! And the statues finished. Gonna build a lighthouse next

And the rest of the turns.. Kinda boring. improving the copper so we can build swordsmen if the need arises, I dunno if a workboat will show up in the lake or in the ocean so I didn't risk making one of the 2 clams..

Looking at the save, I'm thinking I skip this one for the new city placement and future planning as this is the stage of the game where I tend to make more mistakes..

Alright. My turns are done. Founded the city near the cow and iron. Improving some resources, connecting cities together and just general maintenance. Researching compass because I believe we'll need to build boats if we're to explore further and no sign of barbarians.
