Niki actually has the super strength. Two or three episodes ago it showed her being subdued by guards, and she was about to get hit with a night stick, caught it, broke it in half, and that was that. The reason behind it was Niki looked astonished that she actually did that herself. Jessica, on the other hand, has a power that seems almost unexplainable...either she can take over one's mind or who knows...possess them or something. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Seriously, I know it's just to advance Sylar's ominous prescense in the show or whatever, but why do they have to keep giving each person Sylar kills in five minutes, so much personality to the point that I wish they were a regular on the show?
I wanted Dale to lay the smack down on Sylar so bad She was one of the cooler 'filler' characters to date.I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Peter's power seems to have a conscious all it's own, however, because now it seems he is able to think about people, and doing what he wants to do. He can fly now because he wills it...not just because he thinks of his brother. He stopped the pole because, typically, when using telekinesis you think about what you want that object to do...I'm sure Peter wanted that stick to litterally stop...so it did. I'm sure in one of these episodes, Peter will be like "Yo...this pop is warm, I want it to be cold" and boom, it's froze or something...that would be funny. See at the same time though it's interesting...if Peter absorbed all of Sylar's powers, wouldn't that mean that he also retains every bit of information a la Charlie? She didn't even have to read a book, she could hear something or see something and file it away in her head. I was speaking idiomatically. |
....
Okay...Soda Pop is either Soda, or Pop Jesus Christ people ![]() What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Alright, this episode was awesome, the best one yet imo just with overall drama and character development. That's all I'm gonna say before I go on a huge paragraph about all of this, but also the last five minutes summed up everything about Mr. Bennett that I thought from the beginning, and in a way, it was a good way to kinda

The previews for next week are interesting enough, and well....I'm having a "Zomg that is fucking creepy" when it showed Spoiler:

Well let's take what we know about the two people er...not really facing off but you know, meeting at the end of the episode.
Sylar: he's driven by one thing, and that is to aquire as many powers as he can from other people. He is doing this because he believes that he, and only he, is meant to achive a higher evolution based on the initial power he was given. This makes him a very dangerous person...he is focused, he is smart, and he doesn't fuck around with getting what he wants. For the most part he's calm and collected unless trapped, then he starts to break down, lose control it seems befor regaining it all back. Peter: He doens't want to hurt anyone, but as of late, it seems that everyone is wanting to make sure he doesn't blow up New York...that's understandable, but yet he believes he has the power to do this on his own, that he can control and change the future. He cares about people, and that is what leads me to believe that his desire to help others will, eventually over power Sylar's desire for control. However, remember that Peter has an angry side too...a dark side that seems to give him focus, much like Sylar. My prediction, well...I'll put it in spoilers: Spoiler:
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Ted has a purpose...he wants his power gone and he is willing to go to any lengths to get answers. He's out for revenge, though, his anger is clouding a lot of his thoughts and judgements. I haven't seen him kill someone voluntarily as of yet...same with Peter. Remember, Anger doesn't automatically = evil...Fuck Star Wars for even putting that in there. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Ted saw Bennet as evil, and well, Ted was going to go to extreme lengths to get what he needed, an answer, to know that he wasn't going to be killing everyone around him....and if he needed to kill a few innocent people in the process, so be it. So what would be more evil? Ted doing nothing and letting people die all around him, or forcing answers and hopefully gaining a cure in any way possible? Is Issac evil for wanting to kill Peter? Is he evil for accidently killing Simone? I don't think so...he just wants no one to get hurt, and will do what it takes to stop it. Sure, it borders on obssessive, but hey, everyone has their kick :P There's nowhere I can't reach. |
You know, Sylar is starting to become one of my favorite characters on the show, as odd as that sounds. The actor plays him so well...so sadistic and psychotic and the actor is great at portraying it.
It's weird, he kinda seems the same creepy way in interviews too...well all the more power to him. Most amazing jew boots |
My mom wants to do bad things to Mohinder -_-
At that point in time I wanted to /life I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Hey, there is one thing that I completely forgot about during the last few episodes of heroes that is an important part to the whole New York exploding thing.
Issac Mendez made 14 copies of "9th Wonders" before Hiro found him dead in his apartment back in episode two. It episode 19 is coming up, and we all know, I remember seeing it, Micah had one copy of that comic book way back in the earlier episodes. The bomb exploding, Issac dying...they are all coming close to happening here in the next coming episodes...so my question is, if Issac knows he's going to die, why did he pen that comic instead of trying to prevent his own death? And furthermore, when are they going to show him drawing it? I was speaking idiomatically. |
I doubt mohinder has a power, unless that power is pushing things into people using his hands.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Wasn't Sylar the only person holding him up there? I didn't see any spikes or nails or whatnot through his body, and he fell as soon as Sylar was distracted.
FELIPE NO |
I feel as though it'll be something along the lines of the meeting of the two Hiro's being the whole "rift" thing future Hiro tells Peter on the train, cause if past Hiro never visited the future one, then the future Hiro would have no reason to go back in time and tell Peter all that stuff...so forth and so on. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Now that I think about it, if Peter is indeed the one to go off, exploding wise, I don't think he'd do it to help out his brother, or Linderman for that matter.
I think it goes along the lines of another Sylar confrontation. Peter probably sees that the only way to stop the man is to take him, and unfortunately half the city of New York, to a crispy critter status. Most amazing jew boots |
