I realize there's some humor in the topic and the article's content, but that doesn't necessarily excuse you from outright generalizing an entire group of people with a derogatory term.

It's disturbing to see racism like that, so yes, I can understand this woman's feelings. It's like constantly being reminded that yes, the world thinks little of you as a whole, even though they don't openly acknowledge it.
