Who will have the most units sold?
I think that Nintendo will sell the most units with the Wii being cheapest. Look at how successful the DS has been in North America and especially Japan. Remember those old Atari commercials with families playing videogames together? I think that the Wii will bring back videogames as a family activity. It's easy to get into the game and play. Which will have the most third-party games? I'd have to go with Sony. I felt that with last generation, the PS2 had the most variety.. especially when it came to niche games. I dont think Japanese developers will be turning away from a Sony machine anytime soon. Whose online network is going to hit huge? Playing Nintendo's console games online has been a long time coming. Add in the fact that people will be able to download classic console games not just from Nintendo consoles, but also Genesis and Turbographix. Which console will end up with the best exclusives? I think that games developed with the Wii in mind will be the best exclusives. It will challenge developers to come up with new gameplay ideas. And as I mentioned before, online play might play a big part in terms of people being able to play with classic franchises and characters online. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
