Why is this piece so awesome? Well, I love Hamauzu and his inventiveness, but I love this piece most of all because it sounds like it could've been ripped straight from the Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack. You know, one of the quirky, happy battle themes like Random Waltz. The piece is very playful, especially the beginning with the swelling strings playing as counterpoint to the cheerful offbeats and piano. Sounds like Hamauzu + Sakimoto. Very short, but ver good. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
