When I was a kid, my father was too cheap to give me a weekly allowance. Instead, we set up lemonade stands and sold lemonade in the summer.
We'd usually buy NES games with what we made. Because we (my sister and I) are idiots. I think thats when I started losing respect for games - when I actually had to work to pay for them. But yea, sometimes, we'd get money for doing shit like raking the leaves in the fall or mowing the lawn in the summer. How ya doing, buddy? |
