I am a die-hard fan of Lost, in case no one had noticed. ^_^

To be honest though, last night's episode was forseeable. I mean, yea they threw in a nifty twist with the whole uh....
Spoiler:
disguise thing with the Others.

And I am not completely convinced that Danielle and Alex are the good guys. I want to know what The Other's intentions were with trying to obtain Aaron. It seems apparent that they only want "good" people, based on what Goodwin said. I imagine they're good people too. I don't know.

Also, Alex is fucking hot.

I think the Others, at heart, aren't really "bad". I don't think their plan is to take over the planet or some obviously sinister stuff like destroy it. They just need to get something (they at least think is) important done, and they're willing to do some pretty nasty things to do it.
Spoiler:
I am of the school of thought that the end of the world has already been brought about. Theres some huge theory out there that link 108 to a very real satellite (did I spell that right) which sends images back and forth every 108 minutes - much like the button. There are names that are related to this theory. I wish I had a copy of the theory on hand. Its a really interesting one.

But I think the end has already come, and Dharma or the Hanso Foundation (benefactor) has hand-picked a selection of people to start it all over again.

Who knows.

Was I the only one who was REALLY SAD when Locke didn't push the button on time, it flipped to red hieroglyphs, and then went back to 108? Man. I was pissed. I wanted to see that fucker go. There was a lot of mechanical noise when it happened - probably from the magnetic reactor or whatever - inside the Swan.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I have a theory the camp is going to completely split off into two sects. The good and the bad. Charlie is going to lead the dark and Sawyer will lead the light. (Shut up.) The producers said a few week ago on a podcast that Charlie is going to get more and more dark as time goes on.

And don't even get me STARTED on Jack. I fucking hate him.

I was REALLY pissed when Sawyer decided to put himself in the position of Island Sheriff. I didn't like the episode, I didn't like the point, I didn't find any of it particularly pertinent. "A tiger can not change it's stripes." Thats nice. Charlie did, but whatevs~

Also, does Claire REALLY ANNOY anyone else? I want to punch her in the face. I am glad Danielle did it for me. <3

My friend and I talk about this new two-dimension all the time. She seems to think he has this complex wherein Sawyer has to be hated. I disagree - I think he likes being revered as some kind of hero, though not regarded as weak.

I have no idea why he wanted control of the guns though. I thought he and Jack had pretty much gotten over their bullshit after the whole raft incident.

Yea, I second the request for the images from Aardy and Mush's avatar. <3 I WANT HURLEY. GIVE HIM TO ME.

I have a theory about the turbine start up when the numbers dropped:
Spoiler:
I think its a self-destruction mechanism. Think about it. You're Dharma. You have an experiment going down. You have blast doors in your hatches. You obviously want a failsafe to protect your experiments and make sure no one gets their dirty little hands on it.

Only you would know about the button. Only you know the code. The people who invade your experiment housing would never guess unless they took the time to look around and putt he pieces together. And why would they do that. The time on the clock runs out every 108 minutes - chances are, they wouldn't have time to figure it out. The people on the island happen to know the code.

If you fail to push the button every 108 minutes, it indicates that something has happened to the person designated to push it - which will cause the hatch to blow up. (I personally think they're all inter-connected.)

It makes sense to me. =/

I am also CONVINCED that the Dharma folks are getting off the island somehow. Back and forth, back and forth. Which explains those new washer/drier units in the Swan.

Desmond, also, is one of them. "Saving the world." It seems to me they're doing some pretty important experiments. I think maybe something has happened to the world OUTSIDE of the island.

O man, I LOVE Sayid. And Shannon - that expression is PRICELESS. I love how they nailed Kate and Jack so hysterically. (I fucking HATE Jack.)

Awesome find, Mushpie. <3

Incidentally, I think the most recent episode really clears up a lot of shit for us. We know what that glass eye was for back in the Arrow. We know Mr. Friendly is clean-shaven, and we know they're performing some kinds of fucked -up experiments. We KNOW there really IS a virus, and I hear suspicions that
Spoiler:
Sun
is the person to come down with it first.

Its the two-month mark. They've GOT to start getting sick soon.

You did notice that was Mr. Friendly, right? ;_;

Also, helllllo Alex. I had some questions regarding her. She didn't seem like she was too gung-ho about the experiments that Dharma were performing. She was obviously working against them. I figured she would be brainswashed entirely by them, considering she was RAISED by them.

Why doesn't she just run away?

I fucking hate these gaps. It really DOES cause me to lose interest and hold the show in contempt for being so SLOW. I find myself almost not caring when its on, now. "Well, whats the point. I'll have to wait another 2 weeks to know anything more."

And yea, I think the show is starting to fall apart. I REALLY don't like where its going, mostly because they're ignoring a lot of things from the past they haven't answered and jumping into a entirely new set of questions all together.

And eitherway, I guarantee you that if Sun were actually pregnant, they would never announce that in the preview for the next episode.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

"You guys got any milk?"

Best way to end an episode ever.

Did anyone else watch tonight?

Spoiler:
So Sun is pregnant. Another "miracle" of the island. I like how the miracle is another baby for the Others to harvest ahahaha

Did anyone notice the WIDMORE LABS on the pregnancy test? I'll catch a screenshot from the Charlie episode to show you what I am referring to you if you don't already know.

Also - next episode in 2 weeks? Looks like they're going to let the timer run out. OOPS. I cant WAIT . Next week looks a lot BETTER - 5 events.

And I heard it's going to be a Hurley flashback week. Maybe we can finally find out what he was in the psych ward for. <3

I get more pissed off over the gaps.

And man, Knighthawk - the secrets weren't revealed quickly LAST season. I don't think people are dumb enough to expect the secrets to be immediately exposed in the SECOND season.

But yea, I am starting to lose interest in it. I am TRYING not to, but the gaps are becoming intolerably long and the plot is scattered and disorganized. Or so it feels like to me.

Holy SHIT tonight's episode was fucking awesome.

I am going to put spoilers on this just because it JUST ended:

Spoiler:
So it looks like Henry is actually a black dude that this captive killed? Maybe his gay lover?

Also, whats up with the randomness of the lock down and that QUESTIONMARK shit. I wonder if thats been there the ENTIRE TIME and no one was ever there to see it. I think its blueprints for all of the other hatches. But I'm insane. I AM SO EXCITED.

Also, looks like next week, Hurley finally goes insane. FINALLY.

Apparently, everyone is flipping out because Libby was in the hospital, not at a DOCTOR, but as a patient.

Am I the only one who saw this coming from a fucking MILE away? I have MONEY on this with my friend. It was so obvious she wasn't actually a psychiatrist or whatever. I fucking hate Libby.

I also hate Jack a lot. "I have it under control." YEA, BUDDY. REAL controlled. Sayid just almost SHOT Henry. We'd have another repeat of "Fuck, I shot the only guy who held the potential of giving us info!"

I wasn't impressed at all. How many of you were convinced Henry was NOT an other? I mean, come on.

Additionally, I see why ratings are dropping. I loved this show when I saw it on DVD, and maybe thats why I am not loving it now. But GOD its getting worse. And I REALLY can't seem to make myself care about fucking HENRY at all.

In fact, I can't really bring myself to care much about the Others at ALL. Is anyone suffering this too?

I think it was a very very weak episode and the ending didn't surprise me that much, either.
Man, I feel the same exact way. Cut it with the shitty fucking flashbacks, already. So Hurley is insane, Locke's father is perceived to be the Conman from Sawyer's past, Kate is a MURDERER. We GOT it. Let's move on, here.

I've almost stopped caring all together. I mean, maybe its because I'm convinced its all some big huge experiment (which I wanted to NEVER HAPPEN as the actual plot), and theres a bunch of fucking scientist gurus fucking with the survivors. I swear to god, if thats what this plot turns out to be, there's no telling you the level of my anger.

I REALLY wanted more focus on Henry Gale this episode. Instead, I see fatass shoving peanut butter down his gullet while seeing a lunatic in the woods in a bathrobe.

Anyone else feel this episode was seriously lacking? Hardly anything was explained, save for the fact that I am more convinced now that Fake Henry knows something about the Hatch's REAL purpose.

Anyways, hopefully NEXT WEEK will be better. I want to see Sawyer finally kick some fucking conning ASS with the Others. He can totally outsmart them.

Or, more likely, certain people have been chosen to survive. But then, you have to wonder - is this about some kind of religious trip, a scientific experiment, or quite literally FATE.

It seems obvious to me certain people were selected to be there at a certain time. Some people may not have been. I think those who AREN'T supposed to be there by selection will die off eventually.

Humans love to search for meaning in things, but all meaning is subjective and can be deciphered in different ways, and I think to an extent the show is trying to say that.

I mean who's to say some of the people sucked right out of the plane didn't have the potential to have any meaning on the island? I don't know, right after I saw the brutality of the crash and how people were dying all over the place, I lost the notion that the island (or whatever/whoever) "wanted" some people to live because it sort of came off as something rather random.

Seriously, if I landed on a super mysterious island and was cured of cancer or regained the ability to walk, I might think something magical is up too. If I lost these gifts temporarily based on an action of mine, I'd be pretty convinced not to do that particular thing ever again. That doesn't make it true one way or the other, though.
You'd seriously think "Gee. This is magic. I can walk" when you hit a mystery island?

I'd be trying to figure the shit out, too. But I would be doing it at a much faster pace. Like, you know, EXPLORING the island the first chance I got. Divide up teams. Send them out. Map out the entire island. Find out what that horrible monster is.

I wouldn't sit idly by on the motherfucking beach getting a TAN.

I mean, is it me? Or does even the whole premise seem a little fucked up?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
