I hate to get involved in the debate here, but don't you think that having the National Anthem in Spanish is uh. KIND OF STUPID. The majority - VAST MAJORITY - of this nation is English speaking. While yea, sure, its nice that we're a melting pot and all, English IS the main language in this country.
I don't see why they'd want to sing a song that is actually a drinking song from the war of 1812 - American History, here - in Spanish? Sure, sing it in Spanish all you want. Meanwhile, I am sure the Italians, the Russians, the Germans, the French, the Chinese et cetera will be making their OWN rendition in their languages. I mean, they too were important players in our national history!
I am not saying that they SHOULDN'T sing it in Spanish. I am saying it shouldn't be OFFICIAL.
Come on Pang. Don't be silly. I am all for immigrant rights, but this is a little EXTREME.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
