I don't see the harm.
A ban is a little unnecessary though - I think it should be an at-will kind of thing, where it's greatly encouraged. I DO see a lot of plastic bags and shit floating around out here, but some places I shop at don't offer ANY bags and I make do. Bring your own bag for shopping for smaller items, and use the cart for larger things to your car. It sounds like a good way to reduce crap, if you ask me. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
