We're European at heart, just the three of us. We look forward to dinners and time together. We can sit down for hours just talking and killing a bottle of wine.
When it's just two of us together, we do the same really. "Dinner" is never a small even in our home. We're usually the sort to go all out and make dinner the event of the evening. I find that a LOT of Americans don't do this. It's a strange thing to me - grab your food and hide away to your room. I wouldn't let my kid eat food in his room. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
