I just saw this movie and I wanted to comment on the ending (the US version of the ending, I guess.)
Maybe I've decided upon the interpretation of the ending my way because a dream sequence would be a load of bullshit. But yea. I think guilt played a big part in this film. Guilt with Juno, you know. And in the end, Sarah (I think that was her name?) felt guilt that would haunt her life for having left Juno there to die with the crawlers after finding out how she pretty much killed her friend, there. And to add to the fact that Juno is a huge, raging ego maniac. Maybe like how Juno would feel if she had a soul? I don't know. I noticed a definitive color shift though. When the big rig went by, the colors of the scene were that of a natural setting. Upon turning to the right where Sarah saw Juno, the colors faded to a dark, almost dusk-like blue. I didn't see enough evidence to come to the conclusion that it was all one big dream, her escape. But I guess it must be how they WANTED it to end since the other versions show the crawlers coming in or some shit. I wonder if anyone can offer up a video of the alternate, European ending? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
She was not a good person. Why do you think Sarah had no right? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
