Alright guys. I'm really sorry to drag this up and all, but I GOOGLED this episode, and NO WHERE did it mention it was a fucking recap. I was looking TODAY at previews for tonight, and they completely deceived me.

Now, I am completely pissed off at this "Reckoning" bullshit. Isn't this the SECOND time they've had a recap episode this season? Not to mention this recap is reaching ALL THE WAY BACK into the FIRST season.

I am more than bitter about this, and am seriously considering dropping the show all together JUST BECAUSE I feel like they're fucking with me.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

AHAHAHA AWESOME. ANA LUCIA AND LIBBY ARE OUT.

I hate the both of those bitches. I heard Libby was a pathological liar anyways. I bet Hurly will figure it out and hate her too, that horrible cunt.

Man. I am going to have to edit this. I am in STITCHES, here.

I think it COULD have been Kate's Mom. I didn't even think of that. I know that the writers are big Star Wars fans~ Maybe?

I love how Michael apparently made a deal with the Others to get his son back. Thats fucking awesome. Now, everyone is all going to have to deal with TWO from the opposing side. DIVIDE AND CONQUER, BABY.

And whats up with Ana Lucia getting some from Sawyer before she died? Ahaha, MINT. I am ASSUMING they're both dead. I read a week or so ago that there were going to be 2 more dead this season. I am guessing that would be tonight.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I am convinced that Michael is doing it for his son. And I think he actually IS one of the "good people," and I was convinced from the beginning of tonight's episode that it WAS no coincidence he came running out coincidentally at a fine time.

Incidentally, I am pretty sure Faux Henry was sent in to divide and conquer. He was caught intentionally, since the idea of a sleeper in the survivor group would be out of the question. They needed to find a new way to split them into two groups. It's a pretty good theory, shut up. ;_;

Ana Lucia deserved what she got, that angry little uncontrolled bitch. I'm glad she got it. But one shot to the stomache seems a little....um...unrealistic. She'd have died a slow, agonizing death if that were realistic.

And I think Libby was carrying blankets for the picnic.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I seriously thought it was a commercial for the DaVinci Code, since it started out with images of DaVinci, and then his paiting of the splayed out man in the shape of a pentagram.

But then, they got creative, and REALLY made it blend it. It was really well done. It almost had me convinced that there actually WAS A real Hanso Foundation.

Eko is so badass. I love him.

Is it a shock to anyone that the Swan is actually a mind game? Anyone notice how Dr. Marvin Candle's name isn't actually Dr. Marvin Candle, apparently?

I like how Eko is like Locke in season 1, and Locke is all like WTF DUDE. THATS SO LAST SEASON. We're all about acting like JACK now.

Also, I love how Sawyer is all "Awwww, Kate. Don't cry." I smiled while that bitch Libby died.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

YES.

From what I can tell, that man KNOWS something, and he's hiding it. I bet the daughter knew something about the plane crash and wanted to tell Eko, but her father is trying to step in and control something - maybe he's a part of Dharma?

Because he REALLY encouraged Claire to take that ONE FLIGHT to LA.

So. That was a shitty episode. I was a little more than disappointed, especially for almost end of season.

The only part I really dug on was the whole Miss Clue thing. But apart from that, all this episode did was pretty much confirm what everyone was already thinking.

Anyone else feel this way?

Ahaha, Sprouticus beat me to it. ^_^

I was thinking about that during the funeral thing, there.

Why DIDN'T Michael just explain everything to Jack, Locke, et cetera? I mean, I've been thinking about what I would do in the situation, and I think I would trust my Survivor buddies over a bunch of people who kidnapped my son.

Not to even fuckign MENTION Walt is screaming and warning him to "not believe them," that they're not who they say they are.

He mentioned he got it from somewhere - I was just coughing profusely when he spoke.

Also, I like how they casually slipped that in there. "O look. Some vaccine. Guess that sickness isn't really anything to worry about afterall!"

And what about the motherfucking MONSTER?! Man. I am getting really pissed off that they can't seem to pay attention to paths they had laid at the beginning of the show. Now, they're just running buck wild with their own ADD plotlines.

Like, you know, LIBBY and ANA LUCIA. I think you're right, Jazz. I really DO think they had to write them off. They had backstories and everything for these characters and then BAM. You get hit in the head with their deaths.

While I'm all for twists and turns, I just wish they could actually take a hint and RUN with it.

WELL. That was 3 hours of Lost.

That wasn't the greatest finale ever. I am left kind of like "OKAY." What I am REALLY curious about is that fucking STATUE with 4 toes. Whats up with that.

Looks like the rest of the world is still intact, what with the dudes up in the SNOW or DOWN in the snow? (Where WAS that? Didn't sound RUSSIAN to me) keeping track of the explosion from the magnetic reactor.

So is Locke dead? wouldn't it be fucking AWESOME if he came back as like MAGNETO or some shit with super powers from the magnetic explosion or whatever? (LAME, SASS)

I was totally expecting everyone on the beach to die from that shit.

ALSO. What is UP with the "rescue" that Michael and Walt will get?

How ya doing, buddy?

I know I'm certainly one of the assholes who expects the monster to be out there. Not because I love the idea of some black smoke fucked up thing howling in the woods, but because I expect people to be consistent.

At the beginning of the show, it was a main reason NOT to go into the woods. Now, people traipse through the woods non-chalantly as though no smoke monster actually exists.

And I am not debating the fatality of thing. I know it only killed the pilot (if even that) and made lovey eyes at Eko and Locke. But seriously, it really pisses me off that they had it as an interesting little quirk, and now its completely disappeared.

These fucking writers suck at consistency. I'll take it all back if they start working with the paths they originally laid out, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

The appearance of random bizarro animals (black horses, polar bears, GIANT FUCKING PTERODACTYLS the screech "HURLEY") is probably just something to blame Dharma for.

Or maybe the island really is, like, Noah's Arc. And we can totally blame Dharma for it.

I mean, Desmond WAS on about there being "no outside world." You never know~ I know I would enjoy and end-of-the-world scenario.

It's played out.
I HAVE heard a rumor about the "every 108 minutes" thing regarding a satellite thing. I wish I had a link to the rumor. It is an ACTUAL thing - a satellite needs to collect data every 108 minutes to do something. Man. Someone correct me if I am completely off base with the theory. (I said thing a lot more than necessary in this paragraph. ;_; )

Now that I've seen some Portuguese dudes out in the middles of a snow storm monitoring things, I THINK it's plausible. I will have to look for the theory.

Also, DeGroot is an actual author about electro-magneticism as Sarah and I discovered when we were looking at electro-magneticism books in Borders, once. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the name in that section.

And I think the Others as they are now are fucking boring. Unless they're like space aliens who are trying to colonize Earth or something. But I mean, theres not a whole shitload they can DO. But maybe they'll get creative, and ignore consistency again!

I am curious if you're being sarcastic here. Jack was your favorite character? Is this scientifically POSSIBLE? Jack is so unlikeable.

I am so done with Charlie. I can't muster any emotion regarding his bipolar disorder. He's good, he's bad. He's good again, he's bad again. NO INTEREST now. Speaking of everyone dying, I heard that there was supposed to be a "massacre" from more than once source in the finale.

So I am wondering, now, if there is some kind of magnetic repercussion from the hatch exploding/imploding? It seems more like that it would IMPLODE, really.

Not to mention The Others looked like the magnetic crap was pretty inconsequential. They weren't even visiaully bothered by the explosion. Which makes me a little less concerned about it all.

And I guess thats my main qualm with the finale. It did not instill enough CONCERN in me.

Also JJ Abrams (or was it Damon) saying this would be the best season finale of all time. Okay, even people who liked the finale don't think that. Why do they hype so hard.
Thank god I am not insane.

Because let me tell you: that was not the best finale of all fucking time, are you kidding me. I hope very FEW people think so.

Nothing even really HAPPENED! Okay, so the Others got Kate, Sawyer and Jack. Let Hurley go. BIG FUCKING DEAL. If you want me to feel about that, you're going to have to convince me that The Others are more than a camp of hippies on the other side of the island. Maybe they all genetically have 4 toes or something.

There a four-toed statue on the island. That has potential, but as of right fucking now, I don't really care. They've lulled me into false hopes and red herrings too many times. I am just going to IGNORE the statue.

Also, Charlie and Claire got back together apparently. Claire is a whore and Charlie is a bipolar crackhead. They deserve each other. But like most everyone else, I really don't give a flying fuck is they live or die. As far as I am concerned, they offer nothing to the island and it's survivors but some WHINING, WHINGING, and ANNOYANCE. ;_;

O god, in the US they're going to split up the third season?

At least we'll know when to expect it. Let me tell you - the gaps for the second season wherein no one really KNEW when they'd occur was fucking annoying.

I also have this pending feeling of fucking DOOM regarding the third season. I know Europe is just getting the rest of S2 now, but I have hardly even THOUGHT about LOST since it ended here in the US. I am not even speculating on what could be. I think thats a sign that I may not be so enthusiastic about watching S3. ;_;

This isn't brilliant, and especially not because it is over 3 seasons. They're just stretching out the same basic character profile longer and longer.
God, I am so glad someone said this. My friends have been hawing over this fact for a while now, and I find absolutely nothing significant about it. Who cares. We already kind of FIGURED (or so I assume most people did) that Jack had a hand in his father's death indirectly.

It's not Jack's fault his father is a fucking lunatic drunk who can't exercise self constraint. Jack didn't kill his father - his father killed himself.

Incidentally, I don't like where season 3 is going already. I am so disinterested in the other survivors (Jin, Sun, Sayid) and not interested enough in the Others with their plans for Jack, Kate and Sawyer.

Yea, okay. Some experiments. Like we didn't see that one coming. It's pretty predictable at this point, and I will stand by that statement until I am proven wrong. Seriously. We get that everything is connected. We know that Sawyer is a good guy in bad guy clothing. We know Jack is a bumbling fool who doesn't know everything. We know Kate is torn. GET ON WITH IT.

In Jack's defense, as much as I dislike his character, who wouldn't get as angry as he did? Sure, he was a little paranoid about his wife and her newly-discovered lover being his father. But really, would you put it beyond his father to do that?

I'm sorry, but the poor man (Jack's dad) strikes me as a less-than-stable kind of guy. Especially the ethics he showed with showing up drunk in an OR.

Incidentally, tonight's episode shed some light on the situation for me. I liked the whole bit where Henry Gale AKA Ben sat down and gave Jack some information. I appreciated that a lot - I was actually touched when he outstretched a shake of the hand to Jack. I understand why Jack didn't shake back, but I would have been courteous enough to do it.

I also loved the Red Sox bit in there. They couldn't have appeased us New England fans any more than they did with that stunt.

Chris was watching it with my father and I and he totally called the whole "I have proof of the Red Sox winning." He saw the DVD coming. (Probably because he saw the TV in the background being wheeled in?)

Also, I like how we know now that the world outside of the Island is still moving. I had a theory that the world DIDN'T exist outside of the island - but it looks like it does - unless there's an elaborate scheme going on to trick us.

I also LOVED the bit with Sawyer dumping his water. I was so worried he would accept a drink from that behavioralist bitch. Instead, he dumped it out in front of her, looked at Kate and thought "Aw, maybe she could have used some," and then attacked her lovingly. (Just to test the guards.)

I fucking LOVE Sawyer. <3

Pffth, I thought this episode was pretty lame. (What else is new.)

Locke was looking to commune with the island, so he decided to drag out the LSD, build a sweat hut, and have visions of Boone. So lame. And the whole pot thing - totally predictable. Not to mention as soon as that kid (whatshisname) that Locke picked up said he wanted in for blowing shit up, you could tell he was a cop.

Also, polar bear steals Eko. This is so laughable. Last-minute effort, guys? SINCE WHEN have polar bears ever dragged bodies off on the island? Since when have they even been a problem?

Why would the polar bear even DRAG EKO BACK TO THE CAVE and not bother eating him. Ugh. What the fuck. That irritated me so much.

Lets not even TALK about these two new fucktwats from the survivors - Nikki and Paulo or whoever. YEA HERE HAVE SOME NEW CHARACTERS.

Why is it that this show seems to be HARDLY MOVING ALONG?

I love this show. Seriously, I've never watched anything on TV religiously, but Lost is it for me. And they're REALLY fucking with me at this point. I am almost ready to give up the show, its getting so shit. ;_;
