(Couldn't care less if the bitch dies. They're throwing in this sudden love story between her and Farraday. Useless. At this point, I hope they both croak. More about the survivors. Less about people who are suck.) There's nowhere I can't reach. |

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
You know, I really enjoyed how everyone was going to get back to the island. I liked the process. I was PISSED, however, that they didn't spend the past few goddamn episodes expanding on it. Hurley gets locked up and BAM magically out with hardly any court time, apparently. It's like they wasted a lot of time with these stupid subplots that ended up (presumably) being inconsequential. Like the whole Ben stealing Aaron thing. Ugh. I enjoyed last night's episode if only because Jack, Kate and Hurley made it back to the island. I was happy to see them back. I am a little upset about Locke, though. MAGIC ZOMBIE LOCKE. And the TEMPLES? What the hell. Our survivors have been all over that island and they never saw ruins before. I regret being a LOST fan sometimes, I really do. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
You know, I totally forgot about the "dark territory." That could explain it. I concede.
Additionally, what was the madness Rousseau's partners suffered from? Was that explained in any coherent fashion? I may have missed it. I was speaking idiomatically. |
I'm glad I'm not (AGAIN) being a cynical ass about this week's episode. Useless.
It was nice to see Walt again, though. My GOD has he grown. I am a little upset that they just murdered Helen, too. Maybe she's alive? Maybe it's a ploy? I liked Helen. ;_; So what did we learn this episode? That Ben is a prick. WHAT ELSE IS NEW. I don't have any hate for Locke. I like him. I dislike Jack a lot. I just wish Sawyer would shoot everyone and declare himself King of the Island and take Kate and put her in the cages again. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
A more interesting episode last night!
Though the added bullshit between Sawyer (which seems to be a defunct name, now... James... Jim...) and Juliet was tedious. Once again, we watched this week, and pretty much called every line before each actor said them. Predictable. But at least we got a little more island this time. A little more history and a little more of what LOST always seems to have been. I liked the whole sonic fence trick, even though you see it coming. I liked the whole "truce" bit between Richard and the Dharma dudes. I like the animosity that is clear between the sides, and I enjoy going to back to familiar territory. It's been too long since we've been able to recognize our surroundings as an audience for more than 10 minutes in any given episode. I'm hoping it continues to re-center on the island. Also, please no more new characters. I am already worried enough about everyone who is STILL stuck somewhere in time! (Bernard, Claire, everyone else). I hope we don't forget about all those people we spent many seasons building character for. ;_; FELIPE NO |
I just wonder where they're going now with these new people. I hope they don't become staples themselves. It always seems too convenient to murder someone after they've become a part of the story. Aggravates me. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Now, I am sitting down watching a show when I could be doing something else. I'm not enthused like I once was. But I insist on watching it like a dumbfuck because I need to see how they conclude it. Like you guys, it's an obligation. I know I won't be happy with what I see, though. (I would ALSO like to know what happened to everyone else on the goddamned island and it's PISSING ME OFF that they're somewhere suspended in some TIME someplace. The whole time travel thing seems way too convenient for me.) There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
But at the same time, who (if anyone?) is going to kill off all the Dharma assholes?
Maybe Older Ben? Maybe Locke? Where is Locke anyways. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Sian, I think that's the last time we saw Claire. I am also thinking about where she is. =/
I'm also curious what's going to happen to Aaron and Sun's kid. They're just kinda back on the mainland as far as I know. With Kate being the supposed mother of Aaron and no kin left, where did Aaron go? We know Ben was after him, but it's pretty clear Ben didn't take him to the Island. Meanwhile, Sun also has no kin in the US - Where did her kid go? After all the hoopla about O GOD, I WANT TO HAVE THIS BABY IN A HOSPITAL, she sure did stop caring pretty quickly about that kid's existence. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Eitherway, that still doesn't explain why all the kids are back on mainland...? I mean, I thought these children were very important to everyone! What will Jin say? What will Claire say? ;_; Most amazing jew boots |
I also really enjoyed last night's episode. I wouldn't say it was nigh-perfect, but I enjoyed it.
I'm happy the smoke monster appeared. <3 FELIPE NO |
I'm glad Daniel is dead. Kid just kept showing up when it was convenient and he seemed awfully weepy to me. He knew way too much for once character, too.
Meanwhile, I am totally psyched the survivors are heading back into the jungle. What I am not so psyched about it the detonation of the hydrogen bomb to mess with the chain of events. Though I wonder if that's even an issue now that Dan is dead. I'm hoping the focus will quickly come back onto the survivors and their relationships in the jungle. I suppose I'm just sentimental about the way things were on the show back when everyone was on the beach. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
This sums up my views on LOST pretty well:
That video preview thing pisses me off. They better not kick it back to the whole "it never really happened" concept. I keep thinking it will be a Dark Tower kind of situation where OOPS I FORGOT THE HORN, LET'S DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN thing. I recall Stephen King's being mighty influential with the show. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Dude. I kick myself in the ass every time I watch an episode. I should have never gotten sucked into this show. It disappoints me every time.
Spoiler:
what. the. fuck. this show. Most amazing jew boots |
Soooo yea
I'm pretty sure that was the fountain of youth there. Turns out that the guy with glasses? The one who looks like Lennon? His name is Lennon. I thought that was kinda dumb. Not very peaceful of him to kill Sayid like that. Also, how many of you guys called Sayid coming back from the dead? So many zombies, man. Meanwhile, I'm left wondering about Christian Shepard's role in this whole mess. Also, Claire. Where did she disappear to? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
No doppelganger for Christian. Doppelganger for Locke. Does the fact that three Lockes are in existence at the same point in time freak anyone else out? When I said I wanted to see more of Locke, I didn't mean, like, MULTIPLE LOCKES. Most amazing jew boots |
It's like, dudes. Start wrapping shit up. 'Cause you know, you only have 10 episodes left. And I fucking know you're not going to tell me everything at this point, so could we get to the answers you are going to give me? 'Cause you're guys are doing a lot of PISSING AWAY TIME with these episodes. I can't help but to watch at this point. Like Pang said, escalation of commitment, anger all around. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
FELIPE NO |
I kinda of want Sun and Jin to just die already. Seriously, who gives a fuck. Cross the Kwon candidate off, let's move on.
The only thing I felt about last night's episode was how hopeless Sayid seems to be, as a character. Locke's little puppet. Doesn't "feel" anything. Lame, but pretty much the only thing I gave a shit about. I'm happy to see Des back, though. I love Des. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Sprout, I couldn't agree more with your assessment.
They actually did something this week. And like you, I think the sour taste in my mouth has dissipated a little bit. I can't care TOO much, but I care more than I did last week. I was happy to see Charlie back. I hated Charlie in the beginning, but he grew on me, I guess. I was more than elated to see Des and Penny in this episode, though. Their exchange at the stadium seemed well-done. It left me smiling. I'm less frustrated this week than I usually am. I liked this episode more than I liked Richard's, believe it or not. I don't really give a flying fuck about Richard. But I do care about Des. Meanwhile, ugh, I thought Daniel Farraday's character was never coming back. I hate that guy so much. What I'm still trying to figure out is this: If Ben was at odds with Whidmore, and Whidmore is at odds with unLocke (man in black), I'm guessing Ben was technically on unLocke's side all along...? And Whidmore would be on Jacob's side? How about Eloise? She and Ben worked hard to get everyone back to the island, so does that mean she's allied with Ben who is allied with unLocke? Ugh. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
![]() You can see King's influence in a lot of places. Star Wars as well. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
