This isn't the first time they've left the realm of gaming. They did so with the Game Boy Camera, and that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there is more instances.
Also, of course they are going to downplay that which they don't do if the other companies are doing it. What do you think Sony + Microsoft are doing when they call a prettier picture "Revolutionary"? The only company that has the possibility of claiming that what they are doing is a Revolution this generation will be Nintendo, of this I'm sure... (barring any new developments about some hidden PS3 secrets)
