The reason why Ocelot can be possessed by Liquid's spirit is because Ocelot's parents were The Boss and The Sadness (is it that one?). It was confirmed in a an interview with Kojima-san. The Sadness had medium powers and could comunicate with the dead, so, a part of his 'gift' was bestowed upon his son.

Well, it'll probably be a longer explanation in MGS4 but it was confirmed by Kojima that Sorrow and The Boss were romantically linked and that they had a child which was Ocelot. It was her baby that was abducted by The Patriots to raise as a spy.

To get back on the MGS topic, I replayed MGS3 but with SUBSISTENCE and I must say that the new camera system is truely welcomed. Now I could sneak instead of going out guns blazing like in my first run.

I had a blast replaying it and since I was on that MGS buzz and I plugged in my Gamecube to play TWIN SNAKES again. I stopped after 20 minutes. What a horrible job they did. Not only does it look like ass, some of the voice acting is quite questionnable, especially the actress doing Naomi, it felt like she was asleep.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

It'd be fun if during the trailer, whenever a dramatic moment would pop-up, you could see Raiden in the background, on fire, running from Left to Right screaming: "OH GOD!!! Help me Snaaaaakkkkkeeeee!!!"

Anyhoo, the best part of the mp3 file was the music, definitely confirmation that it's gonna take place in the middle east, especially with the vocal at the end.

I like the fact that with MGS4, we have finally attained the graphical capabilities of 'Final Fantasy - Spirits Within' using polygons.

Altogh we'll have to wait a while for a game to replicate those graphics on the PS3 and 360.

By the way, it looks like Snake's right eye was damaged in some way. Perhaps, reflecting on his case, he noticed that Big Boss' road and his were pretty much the same. So he wanted to end the legacy.

I like how everyone is freakin' old, Campbell, Snake, Ocelot, Otacon; it's everyone's end of the road.

Speaking of Otacon, he's looking kind of evil. Man, this trailer was depressing.

Yeah, I love Ocelot's design. He looks like a Mafia-type character. Pretty cool.

Also, I'm pretty sure that characters we know and love will be on the other side of the fence after making different choices. I'm thinking about Raiden, being all 'hooked-up' like he his, it may also be about the fact that, like Meryl, a new generation of soldier have risen. This is now their war.
