Although now we have the Wii version, I can't help but think what would happen if they didn't have the Wii version, instead releasing a totally new Zelda fresh with a fully utilised Wii-interface.

Surely there can be more to just "aiming" for arrows and "swining" for swords, right?

I thought "like this" meant playing with oldschool controller style.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but it seems this game's getting a T rating, for Teen for Animated Blood and Fantasy Violence.

Even if it's nothing major, it still is kind of shocking to see a Zelda game with that rating.
Hmm, I thought Majora's Mask got T...but whatever, the 3D Zeldas always seemed to be somewhere between E and T anyway.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Awsome trailer. The only question I have is why all the TP trailers seem to have crappy sound quality?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

If any of you recall, a Nintendo Power subscription/resubscription comes with an extra goodie of choice. I have to re-subscribe soon, so I checked the site for the available stuff. To my surprise, one of the choices were a combination of the Zelda guide and the soundtrack! I think I'll be getting that one.

EDIT: Link to said offer

Mmmmmm...this game is awsome indeed. I was having a blast playing the game, up until I reached:

Spoiler:
the sky cannon thing, right after I collected the characters for the book. I got into the cannon room, and saved + quit because I needed to go somewhere. I come back to it an hour ago, only to find that I can't go anywhere now, trapped in that room. I know I'm supposed to talk to Shad, but he's nowhere to be found in the room, yet he keeps me from walking out (using dialogue and all), and I can't warp/transform because Midna says Shad is still there. So...I started a new game.

This really killed the game for me, but eh, whatever, I'm kinda glad I didn't do the whole scavanger hunt thing for items yet.

Most amazing jew boots

Thanks for telling me that, at least now I won't be trying to find where Shad is hiding anymore. ;_; Now, to speed through the game and get back to that point.

EDIT: Hmmm, isn't this something that would be something that Nintendo could use Wii Connect 24 to fix? Although I highly doubt that they will do that for this game (since the GCN version is fixed already, and they did not send the fix yet), but I do hope that it will be used for patching major bugs in future games.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

The game just locks in place and a noise that sounds like a low pitch fire alarm just blares infinitely from the game itself. It's annoying, but it happens.

It's the evolution of the palettes going haywire and then the inevitable blinking gray screen.

Hehe, that saving style led to me saving at the cannon, but yeah, I save ALL the time. Now I'm saving the post-dungeon prompts under a separate save file, so I at least have a checkpoint of sorts.

How ya doing, buddy?

Finally beat the game, after having to restart once due to the canon bug/glitch. I have to say I agree with people who say the last few dungeons were disappointing. I can see them trying for something different with the third- and second-last dungeons, but the very last one was pretty horrible. It was as if the designers slapped some rooms, stairs, and corridors together and called it a dungeon. I thought the boss, although pretty easy once you know what to do, was decent enough to kinda make up for the level design there.

I have to say though, the bosses seemed a bit too easy for my liking. I'm not sure if it's because I've been spoiled by the intense boss fights in the Metroid Prime games, but the bosses in TP are cinematic yet so easy to beat.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
