I have to agree with people who are baffled at Nintendo only selling the component cables online. While I do only have AV-able TVs at the moment, I would be very annoyed if I do get a HDTV and the component cables are not something I would be able to have access to quickly at stores. Plus, the fact that my family and myself don't do online shopping.

Otherwise, I think it's fine that they're not including it with the package.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I think one of the most probable ones would be Pokemon, with the trading or uploading, like it was done in Stadium and Colessium (sp?) in the past.

Otherwise, they could make Zelda: Four Swords.... on 3 screens! Yeah, pretty unlikely. But something that uses another screen for multiplayer could be done.

Of course, publishers can always use it for really useless stuff, like unlocking things, or showing maps on the DS.

Oh, I forgot, mabye you can use the mic in the DS for voice communication for WiFi Wii games.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I think Red Steel is quite the eye-catcher, but Rayman isn't too bad either, with it's awsome logo. Zelda's box art might catch some attention too, since it's probably going to be one of those shiney ones (I think).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Are you talking about multiplayer games? Otherwise, he wouldn't really be saving money since a nunchuck unit comes with the Wii, good for single player games.

Then again, maybe it's just the games I have.

I don't recall the following games having load times...at least not a loading screen...

Mario Party 4
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Mario Power Tennis

Super Smash Bros. Melee had a loading screen, but that took all of 2 seconds max.

I wasn't aware of loading times either, until my recent purchases of Timesplitters 2 and NBA Street 2. The sudden need for load times just took me by surprise, but I can't say they're long enough to warrant complaints.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Finally got my Wii today, so awsome. It happened to be the last one at the HMV near my work place.

Anyway, I finally got to play Wii Sports, Zelda, and Trauma Center. Sports is turning out to be some great fun, especially the Tennis and Bowling. Zelda, I'm not too far in, but no surprises so far (still in the village). Trauma Center, just played 2 missions, seems fun, but not too far in yet.

I'll be posting my friends code after I get my wireless router up and running. I can tell that it's going to be a pain to input all those codes in the friends code thread.

People are breaking TV's due to their own stupidity. Honestly, you shouldn't be using the Wiimote so hard you'll break a TV (Or a wrist strap even).

If anybody honestly thinks Nintendo is at fault in any way, they are fucking WRONG.
They'll still blame Nintendo for making "weak" wrist straps though, kinda like how people would complain if a car company's seat belts break. Honestly though, I still don't understand how people can let go of the mote.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Just to get this stright: the 500 points will be a one-time thing, right? It's a pretty good price if it's a one-time purchase, otherwise, if continual payment is required (monthly, bimonthly, etc.) then it may be more than what most people would be willing to pay for.

Couldn't find much concrete info on GG for Wii, but I did stumble upon Guitar Hero on Wii (well, it could be on the DS, but that seems less likely).

Not all that surprizing, considering that there were news in the past sying that Activision wants to put out GH on all major consoles. The real GH news I'm waiting for is the release date. This is one of the only games that make me regret not having a PS2.
