Lots of gems listed off so far, and maybe I missed where someone mentioned this one, but I'm a bit sad that nobody's come up with either of the Fallout games so far. Those were badass.
I think the game that I have the fondest memories of playing, though, was a less-known MMO back in the day called Asheron's Call. The graphics weren't anything amazing, but the gameplay was incredibly fun. I miss it. The servers still exist, but it's just not the same anymore. I hope sometime the server software leaks. Jam it back in, in the dark.   |
