'am downloading it now. I'll edit to see whats up with this one.

EDIT : Im almost leading towards the end of the episode. It seems like your average chick that is living the life of working two jobs and being shown on camera while a narrator talks about her life and then moves on to another story.

Not bad. I like it.

edit : i love it now ;p.

This camera guy is just filming as much as he can. his edits in the film sucks but its not like he's really trying. As a narrator, he's good. Overall. this anime can also be telling you that some animes are the same thing and making a film like this is boring (i dunno thats how i see it from my PoV).

Now that everything is normal (widescreen). The story can begin now. I find this more interesting than Smash Hit.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Heh. I still gotta finish episode 2 lol. But since 7 episodes are out so far, are they bad or good ? I've been reading news on how the OP and ED theme is popular not that great to me... nowadays.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It wasn't really confusing but after that one episode, I gave up for one month thinking that it was going to be hot garbage. But its not all that bad.

If this is only 14 episodes.. then thats ok with me. Hopefully it doesn't have a screwed up ending like KimiNozo.

Same here >.<... The opening and ending theme wasn't so bad after all . The story was well thought out .. To me it felt a little quentin tarantino-ish cause of the narrating and the way the episodes were set up. I also appreciate the fact that each other main characters explained themselves so that the story leaves no plotholes or character background.

Overall, not bad for a 14 episode series. Definately better than KiminozoEien's 14th episode.

Guess'll watch Honey and Clover 2 ;p

ANN gives us the dub cast for the series

Haruhi Suzumiya - Wendee Lee
Mikuru Asahina - Stephanie Sheh
Yuki Nagato - Michelle Ruff
Kyon - Crispin Freeman : Awesome.
Itsuki Koizumi - Johnny Yong Bosch - I knew it was coming ;p
Ryouko Asakura - Bridget Hoffman
Tsuruya-san - Kari Wahlgren

Well it looks like that dub company has pulled another one. Great Job.

Now that we've reached June, The first US vol came out already so now I need to know if its worth getting so I can wipe the episodes off my hdd. According to ANN , my predictions were right on the mark when I thought that Wendee Lee would work on Haruhi's voice. Im not sure how that job went but I assume Crispin Freeman did a great job as Kyon cause he's Crispin Freeman ;p.

Well while I understand that they want us to feel how Yuki feels throughout this ordeal[/url]

It's frustrating that we are also stuck in the loop, I know, but that's the entire frigging point.
Well...since you put it that way... >=3. I did watch from start to finish on that 3rd loop so it isn't all entirely boring. Still, I share shenlon's feeling on the matter.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Episode 6 was awesome. Just rendering different colored clothes/swimsuits, Interchangeable music and Nagato's mask positions.

Reminds me of that marathon they have on TNT/TBS every christmas...

What sub groups are you guys watching from?

I been watching from Yuki... except they are slow as hell (2 episodes behind, but their vid quality is pretty decent.)
They are first released as mkv's by Mazui. Don't really care who subs it. AFK does a perfect job though.

They should've at least start episode 4 (and going ) with Kyon killing himself a million times like Phil Conners then would make it worth watching. Guess they dont care ;p

The only hope for this "Endless Eight" to sell well in the US is if they compress it into a movie. Can't wait for the last episode...just one more week =3

Care to enlighten us on how you know this will end in a week?
I just do. I know the future >=P

Anyway, I think most people skim through the episodes to find anything different. I just watch the whole thing (minus the horrible OP+ED). Buuuut now I think I'm heading in that road to just skip scenes and watch them in like 10 seconds like I do for Bleach.

Glad to see that things are back to normal..sorta. Haruhi is still an annoying brat. Is there not an arc where she's put in her place / gets her ass kicked ?

Well chato, don't wanna spoil anything, but if the next episode goes like the novels....
Spoiler:
...Haruhi will go a little too far, leading to an almost very serious confrontation with Kyon....

No... I've said too much...
This is sufficient , sir. Very good >=]. As long as she gets it.

Vkamicht - Like she got the K-ON face ;p.

Oh god, isn't it like only 4 more episodes left of this season (14 episodes + the 14 from the first season make a total of 28 episodes, right?)? Are they gonna spend it all on the movie-making? When the heck are we gonna see disappearance?!

Well, judging how the current story is going, it'll either be next episode or the one after - they'll be in....
Spoiler:
...Tsuyura's house when it happens.

Now that you're getting all psyched up to see Haruhi's ultimate downfall, I'm afraid that I might have lifted your hopes up a little too high...

Well, you'll see...

Anyways, despite my concerns of not getting to see Disappearance at all this year, I am certainly looking forward to Shamisen's debut in this story arc soon. It should be awesome.
So...which novel is it ? 1,2 or 3.. ?

This week was just the icing on the cake. Now if only he pushed or slap the shit out of her..>=3. That aside, ep 22 was full of wtf scenes. 4/5 Bison Dollars

I was speaking idiomatically.

Episode 23 came out by Mazui. Haven't watched it yet since its late. But I'll get the chance first thing tomorrow morning..

err wait..Saw the first 3-4 mins of it. No opening. I guess we'll finally get a better one now?

EDIT : Another excellent episode. However, it still pisses me off how he wasn't able to knock her ass down (f**k you Koizumi). Its not like he's super-boy prime who would punch anywhere in the air that would create a hole through the fabric of space and time. Wait..that would also kickass..haha 5/5 Bison Dollars >=3

That aside, the sighs arc is finally over. To be honest, I had no problem with this bitch at all. Kyon was able to straighten everyone's problems, everything is back to normal..I guess. Then the ending seemed like a continuation of the last ep of season 1 ( adding 3-4 mins.. I don't remember). Overall , decent shit. I also liked how they piled all the good music in the right scenes.

5/5 BD's. So the next one is the Vanishing huh ?

A movie may not be that bad after all. Unlike some people, I was never hyped up for this shit anyway. There are better shows out there. Just less serious and too many big eye'd characters.

Besides that shit, a movie is a better idea so that nothing else drags on. It should come directly from the novel =/
